Prince George’s Community College Foundation Hosts 2024 Partners for Success Gala

The Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) Foundation is set to host its highly anticipated 2024 Partners for Success Gala on Friday, October 18, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. This prestigious event is a celebration of commitment, empowerment, and community building, aligning with the College’s 65th anniversary theme: "A Legacy of Commitment: Empowering People, Building Strong Communities." Attendees of the gala can look forward to an evening filled with live entertainment, gourmet dining, and unparalleled networking opportunities. The event will also highlight the Equity, Excellence, and Elevation Awards, which recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to education and community development. This year’s distinguished honorees include Howard Stone, Mary Hopkins Navies, and Robert Malone.

The gala will be hosted by esteemed leaders Dr. Destiny-Simone Ramjohn, Maritha Gay, and Jeff McFarland, each of whom brings a wealth of experience and dedication to advancing education and community initiatives. As PGCC celebrates 65 years of excellence, the Partners for Success Gala remains a cornerstone event that directly supports the Foundation’s mission of providing essential scholarships to students. These scholarships help students achieve their educational aspirations, fostering a stronger and more vibrant community.
